Mysteries of the Rosary
The Rosary is divided into four sets of mysteries that invite us to meditate on key moments in the life of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Each set contains five mysteries.
Pope John Paul II recommended praying specific mysteries on certain days of the week:
- Joyful Mysteries: Monday and Saturday
- Sorrowful Mysteries: Tuesday and Friday
- Glorious Mysteries: Wednesday and Sunday
- Luminous Mysteries: Thursday
